This is our fourth build for Anna and William and its by far the most challenging but the end result is amazing! From the get go, the design of this truly unique hut meant building it in two separate pieces and putting it together on site with the help of a large crane which went well and without a hitch! The design which was inspired by New England pioneer chapels. Inside the double height hut has a mezzanine level with a king size bed and ample ground floor space to relax and enjoy the quality and craftsmanship of the bespoke interior. The hut itself is very luxuriant and private, perfect for a romantic gateway. Made from reclaimed timber with solid oak chassis, cladding from a Victorian school and large reclaimed church doors from a reclaimation yard in Wales and finished with a cedar shingle roof and ‘bell tower’.
The clever design of the kitchen space means we could include a small fridge, oven, grill, hob and sink, however, the double ended copper bath is the piece de resistance and looks simply stunning! The chapel is heated with a small radiator and the obligatory woodburner. Privately situated with small walk through a private wood, the ideal getaway from it all!
